STYX
presented by Strive Theatre

STYX is a multi-disciplinary exploration of displacement in the modern world. This exploration focuses on the forced migration of peoples seeking refuge from catastrophes.

Using real life personal stories, this experimental discourse examines system, scarcity, expectation and othering. The performance is led by those who have first-hand experience of Ireland’s Direct Provision System.

Devised by Strive Theatre over 4 intensive weeks of development facilitated by Christian Cruceru and Ciarán MacArtain, the project deconstructs narrative tropes to create an immersive, visceral experience.

Age Suitability: 14+
Running Time: 60min – no interval

Tickets: €16, €14 concessions
