Minnow Productions presents

STACY
by Jack Thorne

“I found things a lot easier when I was younger, I think”

Once admired for his looks, he now just blends into the background. Overqualified for his call centre job, but totally inept at maintaining his personal hygiene. Armed with just a projector and his rambling recollection of the last 48 hours, Rob is here to tell us what he’s done, whether we want to hear it or not.

Written by Tony and Olivier award winning playwright Jack Thorne (Harry Potter And The Cursed Child), Minnow Productions presents the Irish premiere of Stacy, a razor sharp portrait of toxic masculinity, performed by Ethan Dillon and directed by Mags Keohane. This confessional monologue shows the brutal consequences of male entitlement.

Content warning: Sexual Assault – Contains sensitive subject matter including sexual assault and a graphic depiction of sexual violence.

Recommended for ages 16 and over.

Tickets: €15, €12 concessions

This production is part of our Creative Empowerment Programme 2022 – ten productions that push boundaries, open minds and give voice to those who are too often excluded or silenced. The programme is made possible by funding from the Community Foundation for Ireland and Cork City Council Arts Office.
