The Man from Moogaga

This eclectic mix of spoken word, music and storytelling continues to be a big hit at festivals across Europe.
A one-man stage show about music, magic, friendship and football, The Man from Moogaga features de Staic in full seanachaí mode, and the performance sees him using his exquisite fiddle playing and mastery of a loop pedal to embellish the narrative. The result is a riotous affair, which celebrates the rhythms of small town life in rural Ireland, taking inspiration from Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood, and from Irish traditions of storytelling and music.
“The Man from Moogaga” is part of the Summer Lunchtime and Supper Theatre season than runs through July and August at Cork Arts Theatre.
TICKETS:
LUNCHTIME: €13 includes light lunch (of either soup or sandwich) and show. Lunch is served from 12.15pm. Show starts at 1pm.
SUPPERTIME: €22.50 each or 2 tickets for €40. Ticket price includes supper consisting of a choice of tapas, glass of wine or soft drink, and the show. Supper is served from 8pm followed by show at 9pm.
Show only ticket (without meal): €10 per person.
