Four Faced Theatre Company presents
GLUE
by Niamh Fennessy
Glue is a vignette of the life of a girl caught in the typical throes of young adulthood. Relationships, sex, theft, girl’s nights out, girl’s nights in, more theft, glue, boyfriends, breaks from boyfriends, siblings, death, God, car air fresheners, lipstick, lies, and…the list goes on.
But it’s like that for everyone sure, isn’t it?
Glue is a piece for one female performer and a willing audience, all happening in a narrow window of time as she waits for a fateful phone call. The audience becomes complicit in covering up the petty crimes committed by herself and her oh-so-important beau, Kev, as she fills them in on the story of how she has become the unwilling mule for his adrenaline addiction and kleptomania.
Recommended age 15+. Strong language including mentions of substance abuse & sexual references.
