We present the expanded “live” adaptation of Dezy Walls’ IMRO Radio Awards Drama winner, “Searching for Daddly Dee”, a very personal story performed by the author/composer himself.
So you want to do professionally what your dad does so well, though he never did it professionally and abhors the idea.
So you debate with him, argue, and in the middle of harsh negotiations tragedy strikes and you break down.
You search for him a lifetime. Then you write it down in words and music and they give you an award for it.
“Searching for Daddly Dee”, a one man musical play, is my true story of loss and reconciliation.

We would like to bring your attention to the following measures that we have put in place to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all our patrons.
- In line with the government guidelines announced on 31st August 2021, please note that Covid Certification is now required for entry for everyone over 18 years of age. You must provide proof of vaccination.
- Masks must be worn. You may bring your own mask or purchase one if necessary when you arrive.
- Temperature will be taken of staff, actors and audience members as they enter the venue.
- The theatre will be deep cleaned after each performance.
- Seating will be allocated so please check your ticket carefully.
- The bar will remain closed for now as per government guidelines.
- Door handles will be wiped down every 15 minutes by our staff.
- Audience members will be shown to their seats by staff to ensure social distancing.
- Weather permitting, audience members are advised to leave the building during the interval.
- Our staff have been updated on all the necessary procedures and policies so do please co-operate with their requests to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
