An Irish Fairytale

Scareflower Productions presents Bláthanna – a magical queer fairy tale by LAMBDA most anticipated LGBTQ+ writer Kelby Guilfoyle (they/them).

The last flower grows from the head of our non-binary hero. They must defeat the evil monsters with the help of their mystical guardians and a very scared and frightfully funny ghost of a cat. A thrilling adventure awaits for those who are brave enough!

So, what are you waiting for! Experience grand magic duels against spooky monsters and become the pirate you always wanted to be.

A queer coming-of-age fantasy, filled with magic and wonder.

Recommended Age: 12+
Contains flashing lights and scenes of spooky nature.

GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING SHOWS

We would like to bring your attention to the following measures that we have put in place to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all our patrons, as well as the artists and the staff at Cork Arts Theatre. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please note we are now selling to 100% capacity as social distancing is no longer required at the venue.

  1. If you are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of Covid 19, we ask that you do not attend the theatre.
  2. Face masks must be worn. Please ensure you bring your own face mask with you when attending the theatre and that you are wearing it correctly.
  3. The theatre will be deep cleaned after each performance.
  4. Seating will be allocated so please check your ticket carefully.
  5. There is an ongoing enhanced cleaning routine in the venue including regular cleaning of door handles
  6. Weather permitting, audience members are advised to leave the building during the interval.
  7. Our staff have been updated on all the necessary procedures and policies so do please co-operate with their requests to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.
