“In a world where you are but one and not two?”

Beautiful Little Robin is a psychological drama that explores a hidden relationship between two men, a writer and a sex worker, that find themselves in irreparable chaos.

They recall their time together in attempts to repair the “mess”. Their encounters are explored through fragmented scenes with expressionist movement and poetic language that create a distorted landscape in which love, obsession, and fear collide. In their conflicting turmoil, they take devastating action that leads to irreversible damage. How do you keep the beauty of a moment forever?

The premiere of Beautiful Little Robin has been curated by emerging artists based in Cork City. The piece is saturated with several artistic perspectives that enable the story to exist across a range of visual and conceptual forms. The outcome is a poignant, nuanced, and evocative production.
