Babylon West. A town, a data centre, a family.

Babylon West is a dying town… until a US tech company arrives with an offer. Brokering the deal is the Brunty family, Babylon West’s local political dynasty. Oliver Brunty hopes to follow in his mother’s footsteps into politics and secure his place on the town council, but Babylon West runs on paranoia, gossip and conspiracy where no one comes out clean.

Babylon West is a new black comedy about local politics; paranoid conspiracy and the sacrifices people will make to get what they want.

Tommy Harris and James De Burca are recipients of the CATALYST Award 2026.
