Lost in the Canon Theatre Company presents
Allison
by Mike O’Dowd
“The World? Why does she wanna go to the world? That’s where all the bad stuff happens”
Chris O’ Donovan, a 23 year old, wannabe writer is leading a hermit-like existence in his mould infested bedroom, where he spends most of his time watching cuckold porn, coming up with more efficient masturbation techniques and berating his flatmate Steve over the unpaid broadband bill. However while scrolling through his socials one day, he discovers five little words that are about to send him spiraling over the edge… “Allison is in a relationship”.
‘Brought to you by the team behind 2024’s acclaimed production of ‘After Luke’ and starring Cork School of Music’s Pierce Joseph, ‘Allison’ is a darkly comic drama exploring themes of obsessive infatuation, social alienation and toxic masculinity.
Please note: Not suitable for under 18’s. Contains strong sexual references throughout. Themes of toxic masculinity and mental health, with one reference to child physical abuse.
