DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 24th – Saturday 27th July 2024\nA Rare Journey – Nora Joyce’s Odyssey\nWritten and performed by Paula Greevy-Lee\n\nA RARE JOURNEY celebrates the life of a truly remarkable Irish woman\, Nora Joyce\, (nee Barnacle) in a highly entertaining roller-coaster 75-minutes\, filled with music\, song and humour that delights in Nora’s quick and razor-sharp wit. \nBeginning in 1946 in Zurich\, five years after James Joyce’s death\, Nora prepares to meet a young American reporter for lunch. Running throughout July and August\, each of the eight shows in the season will have 6 performances from Wednesday – Saturday\, including a 1pm show on Thursday and Friday. \nFor the lunchtime performances\, patrons can choose a Lunch & Show ticket for €18\, which includes soup or sandwich option\, served from 12 noon until ten minutes before the performance time.
