Georges and Christine’s worldly goods are shared by Georges’ parents (Maria Hurley and Mike Keep) and his best friend Jacques (Aaron O’Neill)\, not to mention Jacques’ wife Barbara (Clodagh O’Hara)\, all of whom have been living in comfort for years on the back of this union. However\, Esmé (Zoe Bruton)\, Christine’s Ladies Maid is not impressed with her Madame’s choice of husband. \nThen into Georges’ life comes Isabelle (Julie Coleman)\, a quiet young girl with a kind heart and humble upbringing. Georges succumbs to a longing for an uncomplicated life – shared\, of course\, with Isabelle. He spins stories for her about his family life and rents a villa in Senlis from Mme Guillaume (Adriana Dinneen)\, hires a catering firm and servants with a Butler (Rory O’Flynn) and stage parents (Trisha O’Regan and Raymond Brothers). For one evening he will pretend to the girl he loves that he is entertaining her in his old family home.
