SUMMARY:SODS
DESCRIPTION:[cmsmasters_row data_width=”fullwidth” data_padding_left=”5″ data_padding_right=”5″ data_top_style=”default” data_bot_style=”default” data_color=”default”][cmsmasters_column data_width=”1/1″ data_border_style=”default”][cmsmasters_text]\nTuesday 17th to Saturday 21st August 2021 @ 8pm\nSODS by Mike O’Dowd\nWith their father on his death bed\, the three O’Mahony brothers decide to bag up and collect the remainder of the family turf reek. While out in the countryside\, they reminisce and wax lyrical about childhood memories. This\, however\, slowly turns to feelings of bitterness and unaddressed resentment\, as they begin paint a picture of a\, not so perfect\, loving parent but rather a complex and stubborn man\, whose actions have gradually driven a rift between his three sons. \n‘Sods’ is a one act drama that deals with brotherly bonding\, the deceptive nature of nostalgia and how three brothers have been impacted in one way or another by their childhood and adult experiences with their father. \nStarring: Leon Danza\, Simon McKeon and Mike O’Dowd \nWritten and Directed by Mike O’Dowd. \nTickets: €12\, €10 concessions. \n[/cmsmasters_text][cmsmasters_button shortcode_id=”pi78ahfshf” button_link=”https://www.ticketsource.eu/corkartstheatre/sods/e-jvjpgq” button_target=”blank” button_text_align=”left” button_font_weight=”default” button_font_style=”default” button_text_transform=”default” button_border_style=”default” animation_delay=”0″]Book Tickets[/cmsmasters_button]\n[cmsmasters_divider shortcode_id=”wmeid4k6l5″ width=”long” height=”1″ position=”center” margin_top=”50″ margin_bottom=”50″ animation_delay=”0″]\n[cmsmasters_text shortcode_id=”iktbnccd19″ animation_delay=”0″]\n \nThis production is made possible by the Cork Arts Theatre and Cork City Council’s Emerging Artists Programme. \n[/cmsmasters_text]\n[cmsmasters_divider shortcode_id=”6wcad0r935″ width=”long” height=”1″ position=”center” margin_top=”50″ margin_bottom=”50″ animation_delay=”0″]\n[cmsmasters_text shortcode_id=”mxxecr6n3p” animation_delay=”0″]\nGUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING SHOWS\n\nWe would like to bring your attention to the following measures that we have put in place to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for all our patrons.\n \n\nTemperature will be taken of staff\, actors and audience members as they enter the venue.\nMasks must be worn.
