DESCRIPTION:[cmsmasters_row data_width=”fullwidth” data_padding_left=”5″ data_padding_right=”5″ data_top_style=”default” data_bot_style=”default” data_color=”default”][cmsmasters_column data_width=”1/1″ data_border_style=”default”][cmsmasters_text]\nFriday 6th and Saturday 7th December @ 8pm\nSunday 8th December @ 3pm \n“Showtime Memories” is a vivacious miscellany of songs of the 20th century musicals ranging from Showboat’s  “Ol’ Man River” through My Fair Lady’s “I could have danced all night”  to West Side Story’s “Tonight”.  Narration is by Bernadette Madden. \nThe quartet of singers – Anne Bermingham\, Soprano\, Maeve-Ann O’Brien\, Mezzo-Soprano\, Noel Somers\, Tenor and Denis Lane\, Baritone – are all classically trained and accompanied by the accomplished Frances Kelleher. \nThe programme comprises a mixture of solos\, duets and quartets which move seamlessly from one to the other\, interrupted only by a highly informative narration\, written by Mary Curtin\, which introduces the songs of the chosen shows. \nAileen Scriven\, who created the Leeside Singers\, is the Musical Director and carefully chose the music to create a fast moving and appealing tour of well loved gems from musicals which continue to be revived in both London and New York.
