We are a Writer’s Theatre, working with writers to produce twelve Full Length Plays every year, for three week runs.
We run workshops for new writers.
We run Writer’s Competitions that offer you the chance of having your work performed.
We provide an artistic environment that enhances stagecraft and new work.
We provide a venue for the Cork One Act Drama Festival.
We provide a social centre and meeting place for those involved in Arts.
When you submit a play to us, it is read by one member of our reading panel. It they feel that it merits production, all the panel read it, and a director is appointed.
After production:
the audience is asked to call out any words, phrases, or images that stayed with them
the playwright asks the audience a question
the audience is invited to ask the playwright questions
